Our Purpose

Food Therapeutics was founded by Holistic Nutritionist / Food Therapist Kelly Genzlinger, C.N.C., C.M.T.A (Certified Nutritional Consultant, Certified Weight Management Counselor, and Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor) with the express purpose of offering much-unknown information about food and dietary practices.

Very different than the typical information that we hear on the news, in magazines, from friends, and even from the allopathic, conventional medical community - the information offered here is truly helpful and meaningful.

Through Food Therapy services - such as weight management counseling and nutritional consulting - such eye-opening and life-changing information is shared to provide personalized and specific advice about improving your wellness with the intent to teach important lessons about listening to your body and learning how to interpret what it can tell you, with focus on raising your nutrient-density-consciousness.

The Standard American Diet is "S.A.D.", unfortunately.  Our disease statistics are on the rise, and we are eating too many processed foods made with fake ingredients.  Our philosophy holds that the best way to improve food choices includes switching to real food, as it is provided by Nature, with minimal processing and manipulation by manufacturers.  Our food suggestions will always point to the most natural alternatives, considering sources, macronutrient ratios, ingredients, and food preparation.

The basis of all recommendations is natural, whole, real food.  As part of the Leadership Team for Healthy Traditions Network, the local chapter of the amazing Weston A. Price Foundation nutrition organization.

Kelly follows these philosophies and principles which include real, whole, traditional food selection and preparation.   Food Therapeutics can be a major part of your path to optimal health and well-being.
